Funny story: my mom and I are both dating people in Maryland. Of course, hers is a hotel manager who travels for a living, so they see each other every couple weeks and go on trips together and such things that Flo and I can't do. Haiti’s history has always been one that made me sad, and I strongly hope (though doubt) that some of the aid being poured in goes to education instead of keeping the citizens alive and leaving them to live in a wreck.

Life is hectic right now. Schoolwork is coming in a flood, partially because teachers want to shove as much down our throats as they can before senioritis kicks in and partially because I’m taking so many AP classes. I go to bed past midnight most nights, and fall asleep a few hours after. Plus, gargantuan exams fast approach.
